COURSES AND EVENTS
Registration
Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. The Land and Energy Management Association of Canada (LEMAC) will accept orders online and process payment electronically (Visa or MasterCard) or through invoicing paid by cash or cheque. You must be an active member of LEMAC to take advantage of member pricing.
Cancellation
By participant:
LEMAC will reimburse course, professional development, and event fees, minus a $50.00 administration fee, when a participant withdraws in writing ( e-mail or Canada Post) 15 days before the course date. If LEMAC is notified in writing at least five business days before the course, a substitute may be sent in place of the registered participant. The difference in fees will be charged if the substitute is a non-LEMAC member.
Companies that initially register a non-member and substitute a LEMAC member will not be reimbursed the fee balance.
When notice of substitution is provided at least five business days before an advertised course date, an achievement certificate will be printed in the substitute’s name and distributed at course completion. When notice is given less than five business days before a course date, the certificate will be mailed to the substitute as soon as possible after completing the course.
By LEMAC:
LEMAC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course before the advertised start date. We will try to reschedule the course to an alternative date that suits the participants. If rescheduled dates are unsuitable, LEMAC will refund the full registration fee.
Course Materials
LEMAC provides course materials only to individuals who register for and attend courses. Our goal is to provide educational opportunities to the membership and the industry. We feel this is best achieved if the materials are accompanied by qualified instruction. Course materials will not be provided to individuals who do not attend courses.
Course Development & Review
Course Development & Review
Our mandate is to develop and incorporate new courses into the education portfolio and continually review the content of existing courses to ensure that they meet or exceed industry standards. If you have any ideas for new classes or have attended a course that needs significant review, please get in touch with the Executive Director.
