GABRIELLE ELMALEH

Gabrielle is a Calgary-raised Energy Asset Management student at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), with a previous academic background in Governance, Leadership, Ethics and Entrepreneurship from Western University. She is interested in the intersection of energy, policy, regulation, and stakeholder relations, with the goal of building a career in surface land.

Gabrielle was recently elected to the SAITSA Board of Directors, where she contributes to policy review, financial oversight, and governance decisions and stakeholder relations for the student association. She also serves as a Project Manager with Enactus SAIT, leading a team delivering financial literacy workshops to vulnerable communities. Previously, Gabrielle worked as a Business Development Representative at Zeno Renewables, conducting stakeholder consultations and guiding residential solar projects from consultation to agreement.

Evie Yang is an Accounting & Administration Coordinator at Vertex Ai Ltd. & Tex Power Inc. and a recent Energy Asset Management graduate from SAIT. She brings experience from roles in renewable energy projects, land administration, financial analysis, and stakeholder relations, complemented by her entrepreneurial background and fluency in English, Chinese, and Japanese.

With over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, Zach has built a strong background in drilling, completions, and well servicing. A welder by trade, he has worked extensively across Alberta on structural, construction, shutdowns, and custom fabrication projects, including a wide range of work throughout Calgary and the broader province. Now serving as a Land Analyst at LandSolutions and pursuing a diploma in Energy Asset Management at SAIT, Zach is focused on integrating his practical field expertise with strategic land and asset management to support efficient, sustainable development in multiple sectors of the energy industry across Western Canada.

Ayman Mabrouk is an aspiring energy professional currently pursuing the Energy Asset Management Diploma at SAIT. He is actively engaged in the industry and student community as Vice President, Energy Asset Management at the Student Petroleum Society (SPS) and a volunteer with the LEMAC Young Professionals Committee. He brings a business background with experience in project coordination and an analytical approach to operations support. His interests include Land Administration, with a focus on surface and mineral land. He is recognized for strong stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and professional communication, with a clear commitment to building a long-term career in Alberta’s energy sector.

MADISON LESNAK

Madison Lesnak is a Surface Land Administrator at Saturn Oil & Gas Inc., and a graduate of SAIT. She has been with the company for over three years, bringing a strong understanding of both mineral and surface land administration. Prior to her current role, Madison worked in the legal field as a paralegal and an account manager, gaining valuable experience in legal processes and client relations. With a unique blend of legal and land experience, Madison offers a multidisciplinary skill set that is both practical and strategic, making her a valuable asset in navigating complexities of land administration in the energy sector.

JOAQUIN GAVINO

Joaquin is an Energy Asset Management student at SAIT with a blended background in analytics, leadership and land systems. He completed his BA in Economics with a minor in Math at the University of Alberta in 2024, where he developed strong quantitative discipline, statistical reasoning, and structured problem-solving, and the ability to work comfortably with data, coding tools, and technical software.

Outside of the program, Joaquin serves on the Student Petroleum Society (SPS) Junior Board, where I assist with the media and communications portfolio. His technical toolkit includes experience with: R, Stata, Python, MATLAB, PowerBI, Tableau and the Microsoft 365 Suite. I am currently building up my competency with AccuMap, SPIN2, ETS and geoSCOUT with my courses at SAIT.

Misha is currently a Junior Executive with the Student Petroleum Society, where he is actively involved in student engagement and industry exposure. Kenan Oubaid is an Energy Asset Management student at SAIT, developing knowledge in surface and mineral land administration, joint ventures, and regulatory processes, with a strong focus on clear communication, compliance, and responsible energy development. He holds a degree in accounting and brings prior professional experience. He is currently seeking opportunities in surface or mineral land administration, where he can apply his analytical background and continue to build industry expertise.

EDUARDO ARREDONDO

Eduardo is a second-year Energy Asset Management student at SAIT with surface land experience at Peyto Exploration & Development. In this role, he supported the maintenance and integrity of surface land records, including caveat transfers, Road Use Agreement updates, disposition renewals, rental validations, and general file management. This experience strengthened his understanding of regulatory requirements, sharpened his attention to detail, and reinforced the importance of maintaining compliant and well-documented land files.

Beyond the classroom, Eduardo serves as Director of External Affairs for SAIT’s Student Petroleum Society, is actively involved with LEMAC, and has worked as a SAIT Peer Mentor supporting new students.

JACQUELINE KAN

Jacqueline is a detail-oriented Energy Asset Management graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a background in regulatory processes, data review, and administrative support. She is trained in asset lifecycle management, land and mineral fundamentals, and financial basics within the energy context. Jaqueline has strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to support land, asset, JV, or operations teams in entry-level roles across the energy industry.
