She is a member of the LTSA Subscriber Register and is registered with the Law Society of B.C.’s Juricert Service as an Authorized Subscriber, giving her the authorization to electronically sign land titles forms and natures of interest on behalf of Encanca for document registration purposes.

Leslee Laverdure has over 18 years of various oil and gas experience and is currently a Sr. Surface Landman at TAQA North Ltd. Leslee is a CAPLA Certified Petroleum Surface Administrator and Licenced Land Agent. She has an extensive background working on a wide variety of projects, including Alberta Crown-Onestop and associate applications and complex freehold acquisitions in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. She has been a Knowledge Provider since 2012.

Over the past 25 years, Jerry has gained extensive knowledge in acquisitions, divestitures and the unraveling and reorganizing of the land contracts side of the business that results from these activities. Jerry challenged the Certification Exam and was accredited with the CPLCA designation. She has been a Knowledge Provider since 2012 and is currently a volunteer for the CAPLA Mentorship Program and the Abandoned Well Committee. She is employed with Husky Energy Inc. as a Contracts Landman and welcomes any queries you may have regarding Mineral Land.

Area of Specialty: Contracts, Fee Lands, A&D, QBLM Land Systems, Gross Royalty Trusts. Craig has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Petroleum Land Management, a P.Land designation with CAPL and over 20 years of oil and gas industry experience in Western Canada and the USA. He has also been a mentor to co-workers and others for over 15 years. Having worked in all aspects of land, he welcomes any questions related to contracts, A&D, and fee lands.

Area of Specialty: Reclamation. Over the past 14 years, Maria has gained land-related experience in all phases of a well site’s life cycle. She has personally applied for over 150 reclamation certificates in her career. She welcomes inquiries from CAPLA members about any aspect of the reclamation process. A graduate of Mount Royal University’s petroleum land administration certificate program, Maria is currently developing a new reclamation course for CAPLA.
